“Trinity’s graduate program was instrumental in connecting me with the school’s incredibly talented faculty that have become lifelong mentors.
“I pursued both my undergraduate and graduate studies at Trinity because of the faculty’s devotion to its students not only academically but also holistically. If you want a professor who will spend time outside of the classroom to fuel your passion or help you strengthen your performance, Trinity is the place for you. I chose a challenging policy proposal that had limited statistical information and found myself further struggling with the mathematical piece to measure future impact of the policy. My professor noticed that and met with me outside of class (in fact off campus to accommodate our availability) and patiently sat with me to ensure my policy proposal came to fruition. It is one of the projects I am most proud of and even shared it with a journalist of Mother Jones in hopes it can supplement her scholarship.
“I have been fortunate to call many Trinity professors my family throughout my academic career and beyond. However, it was my pursuit of a master’s degree in public policy that introduced me to professors in policy and law. I still contact my professor from the M.A.P.P. program to gain his input on decisions regarding my next steps in law and to share the small joys. In fact, he always wishes me well on Diwali, too!”
